Remini Sing - Therapeutic Singing Group

The University of Melbourne is investigating the effects of therapeutic singing groups for community dwelling people living with dementia and their family caregivers. If you are aged 60 or older and have a diagnosis of dementia, or care for someone with dementia at home, you may be eligible to participate in this research project.

The Families in Later Life Study (FILLS) – Participants Needed

More respite accommodation required

Carers Australia has identified a serious shortage of respite accommodation in aged care homes. In a media release dated 4 February 2018, Carers Australia CEO Ara Cresswell reports that a national survey shows an increasing difficulty for carers to find respite care when they need a break from the demands of providing around the clock care, or even to deal with their own health or other family issues.
